Our mission: position our customers to meet the highest standards in safety, readiness, and reliability of critical assets and infrastructure. Grey Gecko accomplishes this in three ways:

Keith Reed
As CEO, Keith brings state of the art solutions to fruition. Leveraging thirty-years’ military and aviation service, Keith has led successfully on numerous levels, from being a Tech firm COO, to a program manager overseeing millions in government personnel and resources.
Austin Ziltz, Ph.D.
Dr. Ziltz is Grey Gecko’s Lead Engineer developing and advancing the optical, electronic and electro-mechanical technology of the GRIT platform. He has extensive experience in atomic and optical physics, electronics development, embedded systems and data acquisition systems. He is responsible for fabrication of GRIT prototype and components. Dr. Ziltz is also a contract test engineer in Hypersonics for a local branch of the national air and space organization.
Joe Laws, M.S.
Joe is Grey Gecko's Product Management and Training Director, in-charge of developing requirements driven training plans and materials to meet the customers needs and deadlines. Joe is a 20 year combat veteran of the U.S. Air Force and has degrees in Criminal Psychology, Forensic Sciences and Emergency Medicine. As a master military trainer, he has taught courses at JFK Special Operations School at Ft Bragg, North Carolina, the FBI academy in Quantico, Virginia and Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glenco, Georgia.
Dale Bowser
Dale brings 40 plus years of hands on experience in a multitude of aircraft, ranging from DoD’s general aviation aircraft to experimental aircraft. He is our Subject Matter Expert on aircraft maintenance and sustainment.
Helen Madden, Ph.D.
Dr. Madden is Grey Gecko’s Commercial Public Relations Director developing commercial public relations campaigns and networking opportunities. Dr. Madden collaborates with industry partners to identify opportunities and tailored marketing strategies.
Ron Stearns
Ron is G2’s Business Development Director. He is a business strategy and market analysis expert with more than 20 years of experience specializing in aerospace, defense, robotics and unmanned systems. His work facilitates interaction between engineering, business capture, marketing and senior leadership. Ron has worked with design and manufacturing companies, Tier 1 defense primes, technology startups and domestic and international government organizations.
Rosalind Deschane-Reed
Ms. Deschane-Reed is G2’s Marketing & Branding Director developing strategic marketing campaigns within the defense and commercial arenas. She supports product development, advertising, market research, and demonstrations.
Kevin J. Shelton
Mr. Shelton is the Lead Design & Fabrication Engineer developing advancements on GRIT. He works in the Aviation Operations Engineering Branch for a national air and space organization, supporting flight test engineering and operations in multiple programs. Kevin did research in Aviation Safety, and crew vehicle interfaces. Projects include Heads-Up Displays Research, Enhanced Vision Systems, Augmented Vision Systems, and Haptic Systems.
Nathan Moore, M.S.
Nathan is a software engineer with over 20 years of experience across multiple domains. He has been a government contractor for NASA-Langley and for Northrop Grumman, and worked for private industry with Symantec. He currently works for Ferguson LLC on their e-commerce team.
AJ Pyle, Ph.D.
Dr. Pyle is a scientist at Grey Gecko developing software and circuit design. He has a background in optics, lasers, data analysis, and electronics. Dr. Pyle also works with a NASA and USAF contractor.
Steven Baxley
Steven is an intern at Grey Gecko and student of Computational and Applied Mathematics at Christopher Newport University. Steven has performed research and data analysis at a local aquaculture research center and has a background in modeling and simulations.
